St . Ann and St. Mary Roundup

Polling was peaceful in the parishes of St. Ann and St. Mary but voter turnout was generally low, said the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN.

Both Corporal Stacey Hawkins, the CCN liason officer for St. Ann, and Corporal Angela McTaggart, his counterpart in St. Mary, reported that they received no report of violence or intimidation.

At most polling stations, Election Day workers were kept idle because of the low turnout of voters.
